When discussing medical cannabis with your health care professional, it is important to be honest about your health situation and explain why you believe medical cannabis treatment will be beneficial for you. If your doctor agrees to give you a medical cannabis recommendation, they will need to complete a Physician Certification Form. Once completed, the physician must upload the document onto the state’s website.
